Harrison Slept Here

Notes written by son Clarence are attached to the bed and washstand, recording for posterity that the bed and stand were used by President Harrison when he visited on July 4, 1889. We assume McKinley and Rutherford B. Hayes used them too. The note on the bed is no longer legible but the washstand note survives.
