‘Lena Rivers

Family tradition dictated that Grace Bowen’s doll ‘Lena Rivers was passed down through the family to the next generation’s Grace. Like many well-loved dolls, ‘Lena had been repaired several times over the decades. When she returned to the cottage in 2000, donated by the daughter of the last Grace to have her, she suffered from a number of ailments, including a cracked face and damaged arms.
