Arm Restored

Where leather needed to be replaced, pieces of strong Japanese paper treated to match the look of the original leather was used. The paper was coated with a heat sensitive adhesive which was bonded to the leather using a small, heated iron. The original cotton stuffing was replaced and the arms were sewn up using the original stitching holes.
