Fourth of July

Constance and her family summered at Roseland Cottage during the last quarter of the 1800s. She was an active participant in her grandfather’s Fourth of July celebrations and met the notable guests who visited Woodstock for the event. She is pictured here, second from the right in the second row, in 1889 when the guest of honor was President Benjamin Harrison (center).
