Damaged Removed

Some of the Lincrusta was badly damaged by prolonged exposure to moisture and had to be removed. Note the gilt area above the mantel in this picture of Roseland Cottage’s dining room, where a picture probably covered the Lincrusta and slowed the oxidation process.
