On the Piazza with the Prez

President William Henry Harrison was the Bowens’ illustrious guest in 1889. He occupies the seat of honor at the center of this photo, taken on Roseland’s front porch. Harrison was one of three presidents to spend the night at Roseland Cottage in what was dubbed The Presidents’ Room by the family.
