Open House at Roseland

In the barn is a poster from 1959, publicizing tours at Roseland Cottage aka “The Pink House” to raise funds for a new gymnasium at Woodstock Academy. Roseland Cottage has been known locally as The Pink House for generations. And touring the cottage has a long tradition, going back at least to the 1870s.
