Rekeying Plaster
Where plaster was no longer adhered well to the lath, an acrylic emulsion was injected to reattach it. The same process was used where the Lincrusta had separated from the wall but was still in good condition. In this photo, metal heads cover where injections have been made on both the plaster and the Lincrusta. Notice the green paint, applied as a “repair” decades before.
