The Richardson Cherubs

Gardner and Lucy Richardson, grandchildren of Lucy and Henry, children of their daughter Alice. Images of the Bowens’ grandchildren, depicted as cherubs, were included on the ceiling murals in the parlors of the Willow Street home in Brooklyn. Before the home was sold in 1904, the cherubs were removed. Four of the paintings are now at Roseland Cottage. This one is in the Presidents’ Room. For more information on the cherubs, see People of the Pink House: Grandchildren.
