Wedding Dress

Lucy Maria Tappan’s wedding dress was fine ivory silk. She wore a mid-length lace veil with a crown of wax orange blossoms. The dress has been worn by generations of family brides. Now it is at Roseland Cottage where it can be seen in Lucy’s bedchamber with Lucy’s and Henry’s wedding rings and her silver bouquet holder.
