Woodstock Academy

Woodstock Academy, located across the common from Roseland Cottage, was especially important to Bowen’s vision of Woodstock. Many times he saved the school from ruin. He paid for improvements, restructured academy finances, and in 1873, funded the new Academy Building, shown here.
